Over the many installations and configurations we have done, we consistently had to apply other 3rd party software to get the kind of functionality that the client wanted. Then we have the issues that always come when multiple vendors' products are cobbled together; one vendor does an update and the system gets broken. Then we would spend many hours or days trying to find the problem and fix it. Sometimes we would not be able to correct the issue until another vendor "fixed" their software to be compatible. This has cost our clients time and money.

The result of our efforts to make various systems work together led us to look for a solution that would not cause the system to break every time an upgrade was released. We then compared those functions to what is offered in GoldMine Business Contact Manager, GoldMine Corporate Edition, and even, their latest GoldMine Premium Edition.

When we started the process, back in 2003, there was not anything in any GoldMine version that did most of what RedHorse CRM offers. FrontRange has since added some of the functionality, to later GoldMine versions, but even those editions still did not come close to the level of functionality needed by companies that are looking for a complete business management solution or system.

We believe that small businesses should have access to the same kind of software that major corporations do, but realize that the cost of a business management system, like that, is out of the reach of most small companies. Until now, that was the case; but RedHorse Systems changed that when they released RedHorse CRM. Why would you believe us about that?
